About Us

We are a network of organisations in Sussex who offer Information and Advice to any adult aged 20+. Formely known as "Worklearn" from November 1st 2004 we have adopted the national brand "nextstep". Our work is funded by the Learning and Skills Council is to give adults the help they need when seeking advice on work or learning.

The organisations who are part of this network include:

VTCM West Sussex, Sussex Careers, Littlehampton Learning Shop, Christian Care Association, Northbrooke College, Care Co-ops, City College, Impact Initatives, RNID, ESDA, Learning LInk, Learningline, PRM, HCAT, Tomorrows People, NEWCEP.

Nextstep can help anyone over the age of 20 who wants more information about opportunities in learning or work, whether thinking of a career change, returning to work after a break, achieving new qualifications, upgrading old ones or considering a hobby class at night school.

We provide this help through a network of Nexstep outlets, this website and a helpline (0800 100 900). Look at the various sections of the website for the type of help you need.
